It’s episode 5 of Smashcast!
This week, Chris talks about a slew of new levels as well as detailed look at old ones: including Pokemon Stadium 3, a Streetpass Quest level, an indepth (ish) look at Spirit Tracks and a new level feature in the Windy Hill stage.
There’s also news of a few graphical enhancements: the ray-gun has been redesigned (and looks BADASS, see below) and there’s a new mechanic to show whose at a high damage level.
The Animal Crossing villager has a new move which will reflect economic diversity (sort of), and there’s also talk on who will be the announcer voice – or namely, who won’t be the announcer’s voice.
Finally, I’ve come up with a brand new feature: Smashcast fancast! Looking at a character who will most likely never make it into the game, but it would be super cool if they did. This week it’s the one and only Brown Bear / Red Bird combo Banjo-Kazooie.
Two pictures this week: first off, a look at the Spirit Tracks level for 3DS

Second of all, here’s the redesigned bad-ass ray gun in the Wii U version:
